Maranatha

49 year old married female. My three children are all grown and on their own. I am very fortunate in that I've been blessed with a wonderful husband who has afforded me the opportunity to retire at such a young age. I never want to take advantage of that and would like to find creative ways to make and save money in order to give back to those in need and the community in which I live. I live on a large ranch out in the middle of nowhere in Texas. We have a garden each year and I love being able to eat what we have grown ourselves. I enjoy practicing and finding new ways to practice frugality.

Hello! Love the site, have been lurking for years and enjoy reading the blogs. I look forward to finding ways to cut my spending and make money in order to give more to church and community.

I am interested in ways to reduce my grocery spending and spending in general. I look forward to being a part of this wonderful community!

Welcome Maranatha, delighted you've created your blog. There are terrific suggestions for thrifty, nifty money management. Lucky Robin has a remarkable project currently underway. We're being told to expect major increases in beef and pork prices beginning in 2013.
